FLUMPS in Morocco at Four Wastewater Treatment Plants

FLUMPS in Morocco at Four Wastewater Treatment Plants

An engineering company based in Casablanca, Morocco, purchased four electric Flump dredges for wastewater treatment plants scattered across the kingdom.

The FLUMP dredges were selected because of their low operating costs combined with high reliability, minimal maintenance and repair of the pumping system and ease of transportation. The wastewater treatment plants are state owned.

Initially, one FLUMP was purchased for use at a wastewater treatment plant and nine months later three additional FLUMPS were purchased and delivered. SRS Crisafulli’s Inc, International Sales Manager and Manufacturing Manager traveled to Morocco for dredge installation and training.

Five days of FLUMP operations and maintenance training were conducted in the French language at a test site outside of Casablanca for 15 to 20 operators. The training included a general presentation and instructions on how to set up the cabling system and how to operate the remote-control system.

A count of spare parts was conducted, and the training session was concluded with a satisfied sign-off by the end users. The WWTP operators and staff were satisfied with the performance of the FLUMP dredges and the professionalism of the SRS Crisafulli team.
