An important feature of the Crisafulli hydraulic dredges is their ability to pump dredged sludges and
slurries over substantial distances to remote disposal sites.
The actual production in a particular application depends on several variables including: the nature of the slurry – i. e., the specific gravity, weight, and concentration of solids in the slurry, the model and power of the dredge, the size of the discharge pipe, the topography of the land over which the slurry is pumped – i. e., vertical elevation change from the dredge to the discharge site, whether or not a booster pump is installed in the discharge line, and, perhaps most importantly, the experience and skill of the dredge operator.
SRS Crisafulli offers consulting services, at no cost to the customer, by its experienced engineers operating from the Glendive, MT Factory address during the sales process to properly specify and size its dredges for the customer’s planned application.
If a site visit is required to properly specify a dredge for the customer’s application, travel and per diem charges may be necessary. SRS Crisafulli typically provides dredge customers worldwide with installation and training services by experienced Factory technicians as part of the standard specifications of a dredge sale.
See below for details by each of three models.
